Annual Meeting Open to the Public
January 31, 2008
The program: “Who’s looking out for us?” is of interest to those who must rely on domestic or agricultural wells in Glenn and Butte Counties. The speakers will each describe how their organization is protecting the interests of groundwater dependent users overlying the Tuscan Aquifer. Then, they will answer questions from the audience.
Speakers are:
- Paul Gosselin: Director, Butte County Dept of Water & Resource Protection
- Lester Messina: Water Resource Coordinator, Glenn County Dept of Agriculture
- Barbara Vlamis: Executive Director, Butte Environmental Council
The Chico Grange is located at 2775 Nord Ave, at Rodeo, near Henshaw Ave. Parking is limited, carpooling is a wonderful alternative. Diagonal parking is allowed at the edge of the orchards on Nord Ave across from the Grange building and on Rodeo. Please do not drive over sprinklers or park under the trees in the orchards!
